Broken or chipped tooth
Rinse your mouth with warm water and save any pieces. Apply a cold compress to reduce swelling and call us.
Severe toothache
Rinse with warm salt water and use floss gently to remove any trapped food. Avoid placing aspirin on the gum and call us.
Bleeding or swelling
Apply gentle pressure with clean gauze and a cold compress on the outside of the cheek. If bleeding does not stop, or swelling spreads or makes it hard to swallow or breathe, go to the nearest emergency room.
